Securing communications to HDFS

Securing your IBM® Business Automation Insights also involves securing communications to the Hadoop distributed file system (HDFS).

About this task

If you plan to use IBM Business Automation Insights for data science applications, you install HDFS. For more information, see Preparing to use HDFS and Configuring HDFS long-term storage.

Ingestion jobs sink data to the HDFS data lake. To secure communications to HDFS, you use Kerberos authentication as described in Enabling Kerberos.
