The devscan tool is a supplemental tool used by AIX support personnel to gather debugging data for Storage Area Networks. The package download includes a manual page that is also available on this site at the Usage tab.

Installation instructions
Follow these steps to install the devscan tool.
- Download the package to your machine.
- Unpack and extract the archive. The binary and man page is placed in /usr/local/bin and /usr/share/man/man1.
- Inform the IBM product support specialist that you have installed devscan. The specialist may ask you to use specific flags. Review the devscan usage to learn more.
