Abstract
Content Installer is included in some products based on version 7.5 or higher of Maximo. The application provides a way to view optional content compatible with the products that you installed and to import content packages (ex. Classifications Content package) into your environment. Content Installer Enabler is an application license key that enables access to and use of the Content Installer application in your product environment.
Instructions to apply this license key are provided in the Content Installer Enabler Guide. After you have completed these instructions, you can log into your Maximo product environment and launch the Content Installer application.
Using Maximo's security configurations you can restrict or grant access to this to among administrative roles that have responsibility to import content packs. The guide accompanying this offering provides you with several help topics on how to use the Content Installer application.
