Problem
You might experience failures while creating a user from the Manage > Operations menu after deploying IBM Db2 with BLU Acceleration Pattern V1.2.9.0.
It fails with an error message as follows:
OS_Node.XXXXXXX.DB2_Server-Part: Failed because of unknown exception.
Resolving The Problem
Resolution:
An interim fix (IFix) is created to resolve this issue. Complete these steps.
- Download the IFix (IFix1290.zip), which is attached to this technote.
- Download the document (Document_to_UploadAndInstall_IFix_forUserCreationIssue.docx), which is attached to this technote for steps to upload and install the IFix.
- Log on to the IBM Cloud Pak System console.
- Click Catalog > Emergency Fixes to upload the iFix.
- From the Instance console, go to Manage > Operations, then select and submit the IFix to install it.
