Explanation

the system can not vary the path online.
System action
The system does not vary the path online.
Operator response
Do one of the following:
- If you know that the path is no longer being serviced, enter a
VARY PATH command, specifying the FORCE option, to vary the path online.
- If you do not know if the path is being serviced, contact hardware
support. After confirming that the path is no longer being serviced,
enter a VARY PATH command, specifying the FORCE option, to vary the
path online.
