The channel path identifier (CHPID).

System action
The system continues processing.

Operator response
Check the system console for return and reason
codes indicating the hardware error.  Notify the system programmer,
providing the return and reason codes.
Note:  If this error occurs
after a new DASD configuration is implemented and the chpid is one
involved in that configuration, check to see that the number of devices
defined to the ESS (Enterprise Storage Server®)
matches the devices in the IOCP/HCD gen.

Search problem reporting databases
for a fix for the problem.  If no fix exists, contact the IBM® Support Center.
