Before stopping JES2, issue the $P command to stop all JES2 processing. System initiators, printers, punches, job transmitters, and SYSOUT transmitters will not accept any new work and will become inactive after completing their current activity. However, new jobs will be accepted through input devices; JES2 issues message $HASP099 ALL AVAILABLE FUNCTIONS COMPLETE when JES2 has stopped processing.
