Changing MAS settings

z/OS JES2 Commands
SA32-0990-00

During execution it is sometimes necessary or desirable to change certain JES2 specifications. For example, you may want to redefine processing characteristics to favor a different workload from the current one. Also, when the MAS configuration grows, the associated values must be changed as well.

Use the $T command to define and change most initialization statement parameters. The new specifications take effect when jobs enter their next phase of JES2 processing. However, these modifications are not checkpointed, and are not carried across a restart of JES2 (that is, &SYS1.&PARMLIB. is not updated).

This describes the $T commands associated with the general JES2 processing environment.
