Downloading 1.2.0 installation packages

Choose components to download

Before downloading and installing the packages, ensure that the hardware and software requirements that are required by IBM Wazi Developer are met. To check the requirements, generate a report by following the instructions provided in Downloading prerequisites and instructions.

The components you need to download and install depend on your use cases for IBM® Wazi Developer for Red Hat® CodeReady Workspaces. Use this table to decide what to download and to link to instructions for downloading and installing your chosen components. For more information about each use case, see Use cases.

Wazi Developer for VS Code

  1. Go to Mainframe DEV.
  2. Click More info on the IBM Wazi Developer for Red Hat CodeReady Workspaces tab.
  3. Click VScode and read the software license agreement. Then, click I agree, and save the package.

Wazi Developer for Eclipse

The Wazi Developer for Eclipse client includes the following required and recommended components:
  • The IBM Wazi Developer for Eclipse client from Mainframe DEV.
  • The IBM Wazi Developer for Eclipse v1.2.0 License Activation Kit from Passport Advantage®
  • IBM® Db2®11.5 components from Passport Advantage

Downloading the client from Mainframe DEV

  1. Go to Mainframe DEV.
  2. Click More info on the IBM Wazi Developer for Red Hat CodeReady Workspaces tab.
  3. Click Eclipse. You are redirected to another page on Mainframe DEV.
  4. Click the download link that corresponds to your client operating system.
  5. Read the software license agreement. Then, click I agree, and save the package.

Downloading client components from Passport Advantage

  1. Log on to Passport Advantage.
  2. Select Software Downloads and Media Access.
  3. Select Program offering and agreement number, and click Continue.
  4. Enter the part description or part number, and click Finder.
  5. Optionally, you can click the alphabetical order list to display and view the product by name.
  6. Select All Operating Systems in the Operating system field, and All Languages in the Languages field. Then, click Go.
  7. If you want to download the individual media from the list, click Select individual files to expand the list.
  8. Verify the e-assemblies that you want to download with the list in this table.

Wazi Sandbox

  1. Log on to Passport Advantage.

  6. Select All Operating Systems in the Operating system field, and All Languages in the Languages field. Then, click Go.
  7. If you want to download the individual media from the list, click Select individual files to expand the list.
  8. Verify the e-assemblies that you want to download with the list in this table.
Note: Verify the integrity of downloaded Extended ADCD packages by using the MD5SUM that is in the dec2020_adcd_md5.txt file.
