When you run online diagnostics, keep in mind the following
situations:
- When the AIX operating
system is installed, the support for some devices might not be automatically
installed. If this happens, that device is not displayed in the test
list when online diagnostics are run.
- When you run diagnostics on a system that has logical
partitions, you must run diagnostics in the logical partition that
contains the resource or resources you want to test.
