Convert a standard document into a compound document

About this task

You can convert a standard document into a compound document, and vice versa. Before you can convert a compound document to a standard document, you must remove all child documents from it.

To convert a document:

1. Access the document properties in the administration console:
   1. In the domain navigation pane, click the object store that contains the document.
   2. In the object store navigation pane, click Browse and click the folder that contains the document.
   3. In the details pane, click the document.
2. From the General tab, select Compound Document or Standard Document from the Compound state list.
