Christina Shim is a global strategist and innovation and sustainability / ESG expert. She is currently IBM's Chief Sustainability Officer, having previously served as the Global Head of Product Management, IBM Sustainability Software. Her experience includes time with several top-tier management consulting firms - including Booz Allen Hamilton, Bain & Co, and PricewaterhouseCoopers – in New York, London, Singapore, and Washington DC, and as the Managing Director for a global impact and sustainability firm, Palladium International. As part of these roles, she grew offices / teams and defined and implemented the trajectory of the business. Her clients, partners, and networks have included Fortune 500, Global 3000, and private equity firms, as well as federal government organizations and technology start-ups. She has also spoken and been quoted on sustainability and ESG at conferences, on podcasts, and in press, including in Forbes and at Harvard University. Ms. Shim has an MBA from Columbia Business School, a BA from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, and she was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. She has served as an Advisor to Princeton University's Sustainability Department and as a subject matter expert for Techstars' Sustainability Challenge.
