Question

Why is one of our GUI users not seeing all the reports, and folders, as it should? We have other user with exactly the same roles attached to it that see reports. For example a user guiuserx is missing to see the report "Installed Patches".

Answer

Someone might have changed the layout.

Try to reset layout to the default:


Please try this in the GUI.

- Login as the user with the problem.
Up top to the right there's something like "Edit Account: YourUsername".
- Click on that.
You get a screen called "Edit your account details.
There's at bottom right a button called "Layout".
- Click on "Layout" button.
You get up a layout screen.
At bottom left there's a button called "Reset".
- Press the "Reset" button.
- In next window that pops up press "OK"

If that don't help then you can recreate the user, remove it and create it again. Take note first of what roles it's part of. If it's on a standalone collector then just remove the user and add it again. If you use a Central Manager (CM) then please remove the user from the CM. Then wait 1 hour before you add it back again.
