Problem
Why is the error ''YFC0009 - Update failed' encountered when trying to perform Cart picking using RF after building the Cart.
Symptom
We manually built a Cart to perform Cart Picking from RF. On clicking F9 -
Start Pick, system displays the following error:
'YFC0009 - Update failed.
The record to be updated could either not be found or it was already deleted or
updated by another transaction'. Why?
Cause
Resolving The Problem
The error is due to missing configuration. To resolve the error ensure the
following settings in the Configurator:
1) Tasktype exists for
the ActivityGroup CartBuild under Task Management.
2) If it exists,
check if the task type configured has a productivity associated to
it.
If none of the above exists, create the tasktype and associate the
productivity following the steps outlined below:
In WMS -> Task
Management -> Task Types -> CartBuild -> Create New ->
1) Enter
the task type and description.
2) Choose the Activity
'CartBuild' from the drop down, click Next.
3) Choose
appropriate Productivity Type from the drop-down, click Finish.
