While running db2ts start for text customer gets CIE00301 error

Troubleshooting


Problem

$ db2ts start for text SQL20427N An error occurred during a text search administration procedure or command. The error message is "CIE00301 "See db2diag.log. Error with configuration information." ". SQLSTATE=38H14

Cause

db2ts start problem is most likely due to not generatingToken by
configTool before running db2ts start.

Diagnosing The Problem

Please make sure a db2 instance is created and there is db2tss
directory under <db2 instance dir> and issue configTool printAll command
by instance owner under <db2 instance dir>/db2tss/bin direcotry.

Resolving The Problem

Look at the output from the configTool printAll command, then proceeded to Generate MissingTokens
