What is the recommended setting for Java Message Service (JMS) session pooling property 'yfs.jms.session.disable.pooling' property in IBM Sterling Order Management?

Cause

You want to control JMS pooling mechanism.

Answer

Application servers
Sterling Order management uses the JMS session pooling provided by the application servers.
Set yfs.jms.session.disable.pooling=Y to disable the Sterling Order Management Software JMS session pooling mechanism so that it does not conflict with the application servers’ session pools
However, If the application server is using  IBM® WebSphere® MQ and fscontext-
Set yfs.jms.session.disable.pooling=N to enable connection pooling
Agents and integration servers
Set yfs.jms.session.disable.pooling=N to enable the JMS session pooling.

NOTE: Improper use of session pooling can lead to Out of Memory, Connection issue with JMS and performance problem.
