Problem
This document describes what *.rtm files are. These files are located in: Cognos 10: ..\c10\data\cqe\RTModels
Resolving The Problem
RTM files are local copies of the Run Time Models. RTM files are created when the first user has opened a published package. They can be deleted as they will be re-created once the package is accessed again.
Steps to delete run time models:
* stop Cognos service
* delete all files in 'RTModels' folder
* start Cognos service
