What logs could be collected when you experience a problem with IBM Z Virtual Test Platform (ZVTP)?
Answer
VTP version:
Submit JCL BZUVRM to get your VTP version. It can be found in library SBZUSAMP.
See link "Fix list for IBM z/OS Dynamic Test Runner" for the list of PTF.
For example:
20210527-1320 HAL6100 PH37212 is version 1.2.0.1 (Host PTF UI75368)
For issues during replay:
Enable traces for BZUPLAY with parameter PRM='TRACE=Y' and send the replay job output.
Trace are written to DD BZUMSG.

- When you use zUnit in IBM Developer for z/OS, tracing is enabled on the property group:
For issues during test case generation:
Send the BZUPMCP job output.
- When you use zUnit in IBM Developer for z/OS, see the IDz general MustGather to enable the zUnit client traces.
