Abstract

Web Services API for Device Group Refresh Action

MaaS360 extends Device Group refresh action on UI to Web Services API. From this release, you can invoke Web Services API to refresh Device Group. The API when invoked, performs same action as existing refresh action on the UI.

From this release, for a customer account per day, only 500 number of refresh attempts are allowed. The limit count is according to UTC time format and the count is sum of both API and UI refresh actions. To support the refresh count limit, following UI notifications are introduced in the Device Group refresh action workflow.

Workflow: On the UI, click Refresh for a Device Group from Groups page to view new UI notifications.

A notification message displays the following:

  • To confirm whether to proceed with Refresh action
  • Note that only total of 500 device group refresh attempts per day per account is allowed (as per UTC is displayed.
Pop Up

Click Yes to confirm Refresh action.

A confirmation message that Device Group Refresh is submitted and count of remaining number of device groups refresh attempts for a customer account is displayed.
