* DOORS 9.6.1.5 and 9.6.1.6 did not include DWA components, but if you are using the DOORS client from those releases as an interoperation server, you must add the following property in the festival.xml file: <f:property name="interop.version" value="9.6.1.6"/>
For more information, see the IBM Documentation for help on modifying the core configuration file.
The 64-bit DOORS client is not supported as a DWA interoperation server in versions 9.6.0 and 9.6.0.1. Please use the 32-bit client with those versions.
Version 9.2.0.0 of the DOORS database server introduced object-level locking, which is a prerequisite for the editing functionality in DWA.
DWA does not place any restrictions on the version of DOORS client that can connect to the database server. The standard minor client rule continues to apply, that is, any version 9.x desktop client can connect to any version 9.x server.

DWA is responsible for providing OSLC Requirements Management (RM) services to consuming applications, such as Rational Team Concert and Rational Quality Manager. Therefore, if you upgrade DOORS to integrate with other Rational products using OSLC, then it is best practice to upgrade DWA to the corresponding DOORS version.
