USRPRF CRG

General Page

Creating the USRPRF CRG

NOTE:  This CRG MUST be named USRPRF.  Do not name it anything else, or unpredictable results will occur.

To create the CRG to manage this exit program, perform the following:

CRTCRG CLUSTER(cluster_name) CRG(USRPRF) CRGTYPE(*PEER) EXITPGM(QZRDPWRHA/PRFDLTEXIT) USRPRF(user with *ALLOBJ & *SECADM)
RCYDMN((first_node *CRGTYPE *LAST *NONE *NONE) (second_node *CRGTYPE *LAST *NONE *NONE) …etc)

Note:  The user profile used with this CRG must have *ALLOBJ and *SECADM special authorities, as noted in the above example.

When QLPAR user profile is created (for ICSM, for example), it is created with *ALLOBJ, *JOBCTL, *IOSYSCFG, and *SERVICE special authorities, NOT *SECADM.

It must also be created such that a user without *SECADM special authority can adopt it.  As such, the user profile specified above can NOT be QLPAR.

Also important -- The job description for the user profile assigned should NOT have an IASP in its Initial ASP Group (INLASPGRP), nor should it contain any IASP libraries in the Initial Library List (INLLIBL).

If this CRG is inactive when an attempt to delete a profile cluster-wide (DLTPRFCLU) is performed, the delete information is stored in the device data domain.  Once the CRG is restarted on the node, the information about the delete will be available to that node and the failed delete can be observed via the WRKPRFCLU interface.  At that time, the delete operation can be re-submitted and allowed to process.
