User's previous (old) Controller-on-Cloud session appears if user disconnects from system (without manually logging out of Citrix)

Troubleshooting

Problem

User launches Controller-on-Cloud (COoC) website. User types in username/password and is presented with their 'Controller' Citrix icon.
User clicks on the 'Controller' Citrix icon. The Citrix client progress bar appears , showing the Controller application is in the process of launching.
User is then instantly presented with their 'previous' session (for example the one that they were using the day before).
  • In other words, the 'Excel' or 'Controller client' session (that they were using the last time they ran the system) appears.
Specifically, the user is not prompted to logon/authenticate to Controller.

Symptom

User is only prompted to logon to Citrix website. After doing so, they can launch the Controller icon and be immediately resumed into their previous Controller session (without being prompted to logon to the Controller client).
