The expected domain is in most cases related to the Email Type for the users. What happens here is that Maximo Application Suite  requires emailtype when synching to Manage, so make sure you have a emailtype is always specified. (Uses having a value, e.g. type='WORK' can be updated and synced to Manage).

The only other reason would be that for some reason the EMAILTYPE Domain (HOME, WORK) was empty and therefore didn't supply the value. Other possible domain issues would be for PHONETYPE domain (HOME,MOBILE,WORK), Or PERSON.MASSISSUER (saml,local,ldap).  Note, the values are case-sensitive.

When a user's data is synchronized from Maximo Application Suite to Maximo Manage, if the user has a phone type or an email type that does not exist in Maximo Manage, the phone type or email type is automatically added to the PHONETYPE or EMAILTYPE domain, respectively. If the phone type or email type already exists, the types are not added.
