Abstract
When upgrading IBM Cognos Analytics to version 11.1.5, the Kerberos krb5.config file must be copied manually to the cognos_analytics_location/ibm-jre/jre/lib/security folder.

In Cognos Analytics version 11.1.5, the location of JRE files is changed from cognos _analytics_location/jre to cognos _analytics_location/ibm-jre/jre. However, the location of the Kerberos krb5.conf file in the preserve.txt file still references the old location /jre/lib/security.
To resolve this issue, manually copy the krb5.conf file to the /ibm-jre/jre/lib/security folder. Otherwise, connection errors occur for data servers that use Kerberos authentication.
