Problem
In IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS), the update of a user details fails with error "cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'data')"
Symptom
When you update a user in MAS, you save the record, an error is displayed:
"cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'data')"
Diagnosing The Problem
Reproduce the issue with the browser developer tool enabled.
Check the network tab
You see an entry for a call with status "CORS error"

Resolving The Problem
This error can be caused by a browser extension.
To confirm, try to update the user in a different browser.
To resolve the issue, uninstall the browser extensions.
