Abstract

This document provides a list of all APARs fixed in any 8.1.x release level of IBM Spectrum Protect for Virtual Environments: Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V

Note: The product now known as IBM Storage Protect was named IBM Spectrum Protect in levels earlier than 8.1.19. To learn more about the brand change, see IBM Spectrum brand change to IBM Storage.


 

Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V is composed of multiple functional components. This document describes the APAR fix history for following Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V components:

  • General Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Recovery Agent
  • Data Mover

Note: In a Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V 8.1.0-8.1.2 environment, the Data Mover is the IBM Spectrum Protect Backup-Archive Client. APAR fix history for Data Mover on those versions is in section: IBM Spectrum Protect API APARs and Backup-Archive Client APARs in 8.1.0-8.1.2

IBM Spectrum Protect API APARs and backup-archive client APARs in 8.1.0-8.1.2

Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V 8.1.0-8.1.2 requires the IBM Spectrum Protect application programming interface (API) package and the IBM Spectrum Protect backup-archive client package. Thus some APARs fixed in the API or Backup-Archive Client can be relevant for Data Protection for Microsoft Hyper-V also. Both packages are available independent of the IBM Spectrum Protect for Virtual Environments product.
