Abstract
Use the uninstallation program to uninstall IBM® WebSphere® Transformation Extender products from Microsoft® Windows® or UNIX® systems.

Uninstalling a WebSphere Transformation Extender product reverts the system to its pre-installation state.
Uninstalling WebSphere Transformation Extender products from Windows systems
To remove WebSphere Transformation Extender products:
Uninstalling WebSphere Transformation Extender products from UNIX systems
The master Product.uninstall script invokes each of the subordinate installed component uninstallation scripts to remove the entire WebSphere Transformation Extender installation. There is no need to individually uninstall each subordinate component.
To remove WebSphere Transformation Extender products from UNIX systems:
/opt/ibm/wsdtx/dtx_install/item_to_be_removed.uninstall
The uninstallation script does not delete the main installation directory itself - it must be manually removed. For example, you can remove the main installation directory by using the following commands:
cd /opt/ibm
rm -rf ./wsdtx

- Click Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
- Select the IBM product to remove.
- Click Change/Remove and follow the prompts.

- Change to a directory outside of the product directory.
- Run the uninstallation script by providing the full path to the script.
/opt/ibm/wsdtx/dtx_install/item_to_be_removed.uninstall
The uninstallation script does not delete the main installation directory itself - it must be manually removed. For example, you can remove the main installation directory by using the following commands:
cd /opt/ibm
rm -rf ./wsdtx
