Problem
Accessing Cognos Analytics from Gateway URL behaves differently than accessing it from Dispatcher URL.
Symptom
1. Log in to Cognos Analytics URL.
2. Navigate to "Team Content".
3. Sub-folders are missing when accessing Cognos Analytics through Gateway URL. Same sub-folders are visible when hitting Dispatcher URL.
Environment
IBM HTTP Server, Windows
Diagnosing The Problem
1. Web server configuration file should be checked and compared with documentation available.
2. Ensure paths configured are correct since a single typo error here and there can affect Cognos behavior.
Resolving The Problem
In httpd.conf file of the web server, modify the parameter -
"RequestHeader set X-BI-PATH /alias"
to
"RequestHeader set X-BI-PATH /alias/bi/v1"
