Unable to use "save as" function for Rational Change Reporting

Troubleshooting


Problem

When user attempts to use "save as" function for Rational Change report, it prompts "CRCHG0484I This feature requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or later. To save this report, right-click the report and select the command to save the current page."

Symptom

Window popup appears with error message "CRCHG0484I This feature requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or later. To save this report, right-click the report and select the command to save the current page."

Cause

Javascript for Save as function can be used in Internet Explorer, however it cannot be used in other browsers (eg Firefox, Chrome) due to security restriction.

Environment

Internet browser other than Internet Explorer (eg Firefox, Chrome) regradless of version

Resolving The Problem

There are multiple workaround to overcome this problem

Users can either
- Use Internet Explorer as explained in the error message
- Open up the report in Rational Change web view, then use right click of mouse to open up menu. From the menu, choose Save Frame as
