You have downloaded the electronic images, and are now ready to prepare for installing the images.

If you have not already unzipped the electronic images using Download Director, unzip them now. You may use Download Director or any unpacking software such as WinZip or PKZIP. If you do not use Download Director, make sure you have the latest available release of these applications before using them.

Choose the instructions that apply to your system.

IBM i

  1. Verify the SHA-1 checksums for IBM i (optional).
  2. Choose the method to install on IBM i.
  3. Install the software.

AIX

  1. Verify the SHA-1 checksums for AIX (optional).
  2. Choose the method to install on AIX.
  3. Install the software.
