In version 7 of Rational Software Delivery Platform desktop modeling tools such as Rational Software Architect (RSA) is there a way to turn off the numbering in sequence diagrams?
Answer
Sequence diagram numbering by default is activated in RSA (and Rational Software Modeler and Rational Systems Developer). There is a setting in version 7 that will allow for the numbering to be turned off. Follow these steps to turn off the numbering.
- Click on the Windows menu tab
- Scroll down and click on Preferences
- In the list, scroll down to Modeling and expand it
- Expand Diagrams
- Click on Sequence and Communication Diagrams
- Clear the option for Show message numbering in Sequence Diagrams
