Problem
Not able to start more than one Planning Analytics server. Following error in tm1server.log while starting the second Planning Analytics server : " TM1.Server E15) Server unable to listen on port 5001. Please check the log file for further details "
Cause
HTTPPortNumber is not mentioned in tm1s.cfg file.
If HTTPPortNumber is not mentioned then by default it takes 5001
So the first server which starts takes the HTTPPortNumber as 5001.
The second server will also try to take 5001 and hence will fail to start.
Resolving The Problem
Open the tm1s.cfg file for the specific Planning Analytics Server and set the port number for HTTPPortNumber to some value .
Make sure the port number is available.
Start the Planning Analytics server
