Question & Answer
Question
Is TLS SNI supported with IBM Sterling Order Management System?
Cause
Website applications upgrading their services to TLS SNI. OCAPI service is called. Need to make sure service will not be impacted.
Answer
Make sure that the custom code which calls the external service is updated with the vendor's specifications. Also, it is to be ensured that the following JVM property is not set :
-Djsse.enableSNIExtension=fals
Do not set this property to true. If it is set to false, then SNI will not work.
The property is unset at the application server level, which means that SNI support is enabled. However, one may still need to update their custom code to use SNI.Related Information
