Technote: IBM Transformation Extender ODBC connection with design Server

This technote provides the ODBC connection usage in the design server.

  1. The ODBC drivers are searched as per the odbc.ini configuration.
  2. Place the odbc.ini and odbcinst.ini in the host’s /opt/txlibs location.
  3. Place all the ODBC drivers in /opt/txlibs location.
  4. Update /opt/txlibs/odbc.ini odbc entries driver location to /opt/ibm/wsdtx/libs/extra
  5. Set the odbc.ini location in the environment.
    • Go to ITX 10 installation location.
    • Update tx-server.env with below commands.
    • Run ./install.sh
  6. Use the DBLOOKUP to run a query in the map.
