Preface

 

These Release Notes contain language pack information for one or more adapters that was not available when the corresponding adapter’s Installation and Configuration Guide was printed.

 

Features and Purpose

 

This adapter language pack is the set of all adapter custom labels in the languages supported by IBM Security Verify Identity, IBM Security Verify Governance, IBM Security Privileged Identity Manager, and IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence Server 

License Agreement

Review and agree to the terms of the IBM Security Verify Adapter License prior to using this product. The license can be viewed from the "license" folder included in the product package.

Installation and Configuration Notes

With this language pack, all languages are automatically made available to the adapters. You do not need to install a separate language pack to get the specific language.

Before you begin

Download the IBM Security Verify Language Pack for Adapters from IBM Passport Advantage® at http://www.ibm.com/software/howtobuy/passportadvantage/pao_customers.htm

 

For IBM Security Verify Server configurations, verify that the IBM Security Verify Server and related processes are running.

About this task

This task is for Administrators only.

 

When you import the adapter language pack, any previously installed language pack is overlaid.

Procedure for IBM Security Verify- Identity Server

1.     Log in to the IBM Security Verify console.

2.     Click Configure System > Manage Service Types.

3.     On the Manage Service Types window, click Import.

4.     On the Service Definition File field, click Browse.

5.     Search for the timx_agents.jar file and click Open. This file contains the translated labels for all adapters in all the supported languages.

6.     Click OK.

7.     On the Success page, click Close.

Procedure for IBM Security Verify- Governance Server

1.     Log in to the IBM Security Verify-Governance Console.

2.     From the Administration Console, select Enterprise Connectors.

3.     Select Manage > Profiles.

4.     Click Actions > Import.

5.     On the Import page, complete these steps:

a.     Select Language Pack.

b.     Click Browse to locate the timx_agents.jar JAR file.

c.     Click Upload file.

A message indicates that you successfully imported the jar.
6.   Click Close.
