Description

IBM Spectrum Protect Entry is a product offering that is designed for businesses with smaller storage environments. Pricing and licensing are based according to a managed server charge metric for servers that are managed by IBM Spectrum Protect and the managing server. You can have up to 50 managed servers for your enterprise. A maximum of 10 of these servers can be VMware ESXi Host servers. IBM Spectrum Protect Entry is restricted to storage environments with 100 or fewer nodes that are registered to IBM Spectrum Protect per enterprise. Duplicated nodes that are related to IBM Spectrum Protect node replication processing are excluded from this restriction.

This offering is supported on the Linux x86_64, Linux on Power Systems, and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
