How do you performance tune and configure the Nokia NetAct v6 Probe?

Answer

There's a number of ways you can performance tune the Nokia NetAct v6 Probe
  • Select only the supported IRPS with the NotificationCategories property
  • Use Circular Store and Forward when the internal queue limit is breeched
  • Do not automatically Resynch
  • Use the nco_pad backoff strategy
  • Use AlarmFilter or NotificationFilter property settings
  • Use the latest test fix patch to prevent issues with NOTIFY_FM_ALARM_LIST_REBUILT Events
  • Check the performance of the object server
  • Performance tune the probes rules file
