Support for restricting logon hours to company working hours

The logon hours determine when the emails are synced from the email servers. In this release, MaaS360 introduced new policies to allow the administrators to restrict the logon hours to the company working hours. MaaS360 also ensures that the sync from email server is automatically disconnected outside of the valid logon hours.

MaaS360 allows administrators to configure logon hours in one of the following ways:

AD Based: Leverages Cloud Extender tool to automatically sync the logon hours from Active Directory.

Policy Based: Allows the configuration of logon hours manually.

Note: This feature is available by default.

To configure logon hours,

  1. Navigate to persona policies > Email > Configuration > Set Logon Hours.
  2. In the Setting Type field,
  • Select AD Based to automatically sync logon hours from Active Directory
  • Select Policy Based to configure logon hours manually for each day.

3. Click Save.
