Abstract
MaaS360 adds support to allow the users to turn off battery optimization for Secure Mail app. Previously, the battery optimization was turned on for Secure Mail by default. When the option is turned on, the device could not synchronize with the mail server in the background, resulting in delays in the email and notifications.

To exclude MaaS360 Secure Mail from battery optimization,
- Do one of the following
Tap the yellow ribbon in the Inbox. Note: The ribbon is unavailable after Secure Mail is already excluded from the battery optimization list.
Navigate to MaaS360 Settings > General Settings > Optimize background synchronization.
Result: The Battery Optimization device settings screen is displayed.
2. Select All Apps filter and then select MaaS360 Mail app.
3. Select Don't Optimize option and tap Done.
