This document explains how to update your installation of IBM App Connect Enterprise 12.0.1.0 Linux on Z for IBM zCX so that you are able to create support cases.
Issue:
The incorrect function modification identifier (FMID) was included in IBM App Connect Enterprise 12.0.1.0 Linux on Z for IBM zCX Multilingual (G014ZML). Clients with this version are unable to raise the appropriate service and support cases.

Parts affected:
This issue affects downloads of IBM App Connect Enterprise 12.0.1.0 Linux on Z for IBM zCX Multilingual (G014ZML) made between 28 May 2021 and 17 June 2021. These downloads contain the FMID HAMGB00, which is incorrect.
To check the FMID for your installation of IBM App Connect Enterprise Linux on Z for IBM zCX, follow the steps in Retrieving product information from SMP/E global and target zones.
How to resolve:
To resolve this issue and make sure that you have the correct FMID reported, complete the following steps:
- Uninstall IBM App Connect Enterprise 12.0.1.0 Linux on Z for IBM zCX. To uninstall, follow the instructions for working with Portable Software Instances and use the remove action.
- Download the updated file for IBM App Connect Enterprise 12.0.1.0 Linux on Z for IBM zCX Multilingual (G01T5ML) from Passport Advantage.
- Install the updated version of IBM App Connect Enterprise 12.0.1.0 Linux on Z for IBM zCX (G01T5ML).
- Check that the FMID is HAMGC00.
You now have the correct FMID for IBM App Connect Enterprise 12.0.1.0 Linux on Z for IBM zCX and can create support requests.
