Resolving The Problem
Steps to map keyboard for Host Functions using Access Client Solutions.
- On the 5250 emulation session go under Edit/Preferences/Keyboard.
- Change the Category to Host Functions.
- Scroll down to the desire function and click to highlight the function.
- Select Assign a Key button at the bottom to assign a new keystroke.
- The keyboard mapping tool will change and show PRESS A KEY when waiting for you to add a new keystroke.
- Press the key on your keyboard you are wanting to set for this function.
- ACS will accept the new keystroke and assign it to the function.
- If that key stroke is already assigned to a new function, you will receive a warning from ACS to replace it.
