SQE has improved performance for Outer Join queries
What's enhanced?
- I/O bound LEFT or RIGHT OUTER JOIN queries can be implemented more efficiently by reducing random I/O on indexes.
When will this happen?
- Appropriate indexes exist on the join columns.
- There isn't additional selection in the WHERE clause for the file.
What does the user need to do?
- Nothing. SQE will make this determination, when appropriate, and automatically implement the improved behavior.
