Effective with Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.3, the JDBC parameters that are used to connect to Microsoft SQL Server databases have changed. If you use the new SQL Server JDBC JAR file that is provided with the Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.3 upgrade on your Cognos server, ensure that you specify the JDBC parameters that are described in this document.

When you configure JDBC connection parameters for Microsoft SQL Server databases, use the following parameters:
