Problem
Using Active Directory as the authentication source, when viewing users in the Security pages via Manage > Administration Console who have not yet logged into Cognos Connection, some users appear with their name as a hyperlink, a blank Modified date and the 'create a profile' icon. The name should only appear as a hyperlink if the user has not yet run Cognos Connection. When logging in through the "LDAP" authentication source type, the users appear as expected i.e. the name does not appear as a hyperlink.

Resolving The Problem
For the users in question, the AD user accounts had the ‘hasChildren=true” flag set to "true" which is related to the "CN=ExchangeActiveSynchDevices" which is a subfolder of type "Entry"
