Effective September 30, 2021, IBM® will discontinue support for IBM Sterling™ Gentran® Director 5.4.0 and the following IBM Sterling Gentran Server 6.6.0 offerings, licensed under the IBM International Program License Agreement:

Extended support is not available for discontinued versions and releases.

Clients with current maintenance are eligible to upgrade to:

  • IBM Sterling™ Gentran Server for Microsoft™ Windows 5.3.1 (images available in Sterling Gentran 6.6.1 e-assembly), Sterling Gentran Server for Unix 6.2.0, and Sterling Gentran Server 3.6.0 for iSeries 3.6.
  • IBM Sterling Gentran Director 5.5.0

For the latest information and assistance, contact your IBM representative or IBM Business Partner representative.

Effective September 30, 2021, IBM Sterling Gentran Server for Unix is no longer supported on HP-UX. Clients must migrate to a supported platform: IBM AIX®, Oracle Solaris, or Microsoft Windows. For details, contact your IBM technical support representative.
