Abstract
This article describes how to install IBM Installation Manager, IBM Data Studio, and IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator Studio simultaneously on a Windows system.

The typical approach is to install IBM Installation Manager, then start IBM Installation Manager to record a response file, and finally install the software packages silently with the help of that response file. When you install software in silent mode, a user interface is not available. Instead, the commands in the response file are run. For more information, see:

You can use IBM Installation Manager to both install software packages and the IBM Installation Manager itself at the same time.
To install IBM Installation Manager, IBM Data Studio, and IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator Studio silently at the same time, proceed as follows:
After a successful installation, the following software packages have been installed:

To install IBM Installation Manager, IBM Data Studio, and IBM DB2 Analytics Accelerator Studio silently at the same time, proceed as follows:
- Go to: https://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/iwm/web/preLogin.do?source=swg-db2aas
- Type your IBMid and password in the appropriate fields and click Sign in. If you do not have an IBMid so far, click Get an IBM ID and follow the registration instructions on the form. After finishing this task, you return to this page where you can sign in using your new IBM ID and password.
Note: Sometimes, you are asked to provide information such as your first name, last name, email address and your preferred business contact method although you have already signed in with your IBMid. In that case, just provide the requested information again to proceed. On the following page, under License, select the check box 'I agree' to agree to the terms and conditions. - Click the button 'I Confirm'.
- Download the installation package using one of these methods:
- Download using http
- Download using Download Director
- Extract the package (compressed archive) to a local directory on your workstation.
- Change to the <local directory>\Disk1\InstallerImage_win32 directory, where <local directory> is the full path to the chosen local directory.
- Run the silent installation program by using the following command:
installc.exe -acceptLicense
After a successful installation, the following software packages have been installed:
