Should changes be made to the xqe.config.xml file in the Cognos_install_dir/configuration folder?
Answer
The xqe.config.xml file should not be modified.
This file contains default settings. If you wish to modify these settings, please make a copy of this file and rename it "xqe.config.custom.xml" then make your changes to the new file.
The "xqe.config.custom.xml" takes precedence over the xqe.config.xml file.
