Additional Information
The Service Integration Bus Explorer is a stand-alone tool that allows more natural navigation and monitoring of the messaging components of a Service Integration (SI) Bus. The SI Bus was introduced as the default messaging provider for WebSphere Application Server 6 and WebSphere ESB. This tool can aid an administrator or user of the bus in displaying the resources available and their states and in allowing limited management of the system.
The tool is written in 100% Java™ and talks directly to an application server (or a deployment manager) through the administration client and MBean interfaces that are already included in WebSphere Application Server. The GUI uses the Standard Widget Toolkit: a technology that the Eclipse platform makes use of. This gives the tool the added advantage of looking like and performing like a native GUI application.
This tool is provided as is without any warranty or support and is maintained as time permits by Kevin Grigorenko (kevin.grigorenko@us.ibm.com).
