Abstract
IBM is implementing infrastructure changes that will affect the capability to upload files to ECuRep.
Content
Starting on October 29, 2024, IBM will begin a process to transition the host names and TCP/IP addresses that are used to transfer diagnostic data to the IBM Enhanced Customer Data Repository (ECuRep). Data is transferred to ECuRep at the request of an IBM support specialist when responding to customer reported cases submitted through the IBM Support Portal. Additionally, IBM will disable deprecated ciphers that are used when connecting to ECuRep.
For details about these infrastructure changes, see Changes to data upload for IBM Support – Preparing customer firewalls and proxies for the upcoming infrastructure changes and disablement of deprecated ciphers – Enhanced Customer Data Repository (ECuRep) also used to upload files to Case.
Ensure that you review and act on this information as soon as possible. The transition period ends March 10, 2025. At that time, any necessary changes for connecting to ECuRep, including firewalls and proxies, must be complete.
