Selecting Properties generates a DXL No access to the administrator account in IBM Rational DOORS

Troubleshooting


Problem

When right clicking on a project name and selecting Properties, generates a DXL "No access to the administrator account" error message

Symptom

DXL error message is seen:

Cause

This can be caused by the Administrator user not having RMCDA permissions for the project.

Resolving The Problem

If the Administrator account with RMCA access is accidentally added into the project the behavior is seen since Administrator account always has RMCDA which conflict with RMCA.

Remove the Administrator account from the project access list to resolve the issue.
